Lot 361 Jan Pleitner. Ohne Titel. 2014. …
Ohne Titel. 2014. Mischtechnik auf Leinwand. 170 x 120 cm (174 x 124 cm). Verso signiert und datiert. In Schattenfuge montiert. - Insgesamt sehr gut.
Contemporary Art – Mixed media on canvas. Signed and dated verso. - Private collection, Wilhelmshaven. - The working method of the painter Jan Pleitner is characterised by an attitude of controlled loss of control. His works are created in physically intensive working processes: energetically charged colour fields, hatchings and textures are created by repeatedly scraping, rubbing, layering and breaking up the layers of paint. The present painting can also be read as a painterly condensation of time and movement, in which the impulsiveness appears to be thoroughly composed. The artist himself describes his work as "science fiction expressionism", describing a form of painting that does not focus on external reality but on inner energetic states.
