Liber amicorum - Thüringen
Manuskripte und Urkunden – Friedrich Riemann (1829 - nach 1901) war Sohn des Kaufmanns Georg Friedrich Riemann (1799-1862, ab 1844 bürgerl. Magistratsrat) und dessen Gattin Maria Sophia geb. Graf. 1841-1843 besuchte er die Salzmannschule zu Schnepfenthal. Danach besuchte er die Landwirtschaftliche Lehranstalt zu Lichtenhof bei Nürnberg und nahm später den Stand eines Rentiers bzw. Privatiers ein. Er war außerdem Besitzer des sog. Viatishauses Hauses in der Königstraße. - Mit Einträgen u.a. von: Joh. Christian Carl Salzmann (1784-1870, Direktor der Erziehungsanstalt), Harald Othmar Lenz (1789-1870, Naturhistoriker), Johann Wilhelm Ausfeld (1776-1853, Pädagoge), Heinrich Eduard Brockhaus (1829-1914, Verleger u. Politiker), Carl Graf von Schlitz gen. von Görtz (1822-1885), Adolf Graf von Grote (1830-1898, Politiker, Mitgl. d. Dt. Reichstags), Ferdinand Graf von Harrach (1832-1915, Maler), Franz Wagenführ (1829-1883, Fabrikbesitzer in Tangerhütte), Ernst (1781-1851), Johanna (1790-1870) u. August (1777-1858) Ausfeld, Wilhelm August Winzer, Julius Girtanner, August Rein, Eduard David Helmke, Miguel Tito u. Julio Máximo de Sá (1828-1875 u. 1830-1869, Kaufmänner), Jean Jaques u. Ernest(e) Mercier etc. - Insg. wohlerhalten.
Manuscripts – Thuringia - Liber amicorum belonging to Friedrich Riemann from Nuremberg with 52 entries, mainly from teachers (10) and pupils (39) at the Salzmann School in Schnepfenthal. Loose sheets in gilt stamped cardoard box. - Friedrich Riemann (1829 - after 1901) was the son of merchant Georg Friedrich Riemann (1799-1862, civil magistrate from 1844) and his wife Maria Sophia, née Graf. From 1841 to 1843, he attended the Salzmann School in Schnepfenthal. He then attended the Agricultural College in Lichtenhof near Nuremberg and later became a rentier or man of independent means. He was also the owner of the so-called Viatishaus house on Königstraße. - With entries by, among others: as listed above. - Overall good condition.
