Stammbuch der Adéle Herzog. Mit 20 Einträgen, 4 tls. aquarellierten Zeichnungen, 1 gouachierten Radierung, 2 Notenseiten und 1 Montage aus getrockneten Stiefmütterchen. Meist französische Handschriften auf Papier. Baden, Logelbach, Orbey u.a., um 1833-1850. Ca. 87 Bl. (versch. Papierstärken, tls. farb., tls. Wz. "KF" u. Muschel). Quer-4°. Blindgepr. Ldr. d. Zt. (mit hs. Etikett des Buchbinders "J.J. Abry à Colmar") mit dreis. Goldschnitt, Goldfilete, goldgepr. DTitel "Album" sowie mit goldgepr. Datierung "Aout 1833" u. Namen "Adéle Herzog" auf dem Rücken (tls. berieben u. etw. bestoßen).

Liber amicorum - Elsass

Manuskripte und Urkunden – Adèle Herzog (*1814, Industriellen-Familie aus Logelbach/Wintzenheim) war verheiratet mit dem Politiker Eugène Jean-Baptiste Charles Lefébure (1808-1874). Ihr Sohn war der Schriftsteller Léon Lefébure (1838-1911). - Mit Einträgen u.a. von: Leon Lefébure, Hertrich (wohl nicht der mit der Familie befreundete Miniaturmaler Michel Hertrich), Marie u. Sophie de Silberhorn, Adele Le Bret, Nestor Joly. - Die Zeichnungen mit 3 Ansichten u. 1 stickenden Dame, u.a. bez. Schaffhausen, sign. Eug. Moritz (dat. 1844). - Die Rad. mit Ansicht des Heidelberger Schlosses. - 1 kl. Bl. mit hs. Noten u. 1 Bl. mit Versen beiliegend. - Blätter entnommen, tls. etw. knitterig u. braunfleckig, insg. wohlerhalten.

Manuscripts – Alsace - Liber amicorum of Adéle Herzog. With 20 entries, 4 watercolour drawings, 1 gouache etching, 2 pages of music and 1 montage of dried pansies. Mostly French manuscripts on paper. Contemp. blind-stamped leather binding (with handwritten label of the bookbinder 'J.J. Abry à Colmar') with gilt edges, gilt fillet, gilt stamped title 'Album', gilt stamped date 'Aout 1833' and name 'Adéle Herzog' on the spine (some rubbing and slight wear). - Adèle Herzog (*1814, industrialist family from Logelbach/Wintzenheim) was married to the politician Eugène Jean-Baptiste Charles Lefébure (1808-1874). Her son was the writer Léon Lefébure (1838-1911). - With entries by, among others: Leon Lefébure, Hertrich (probably not the miniaturist Michel Hertrich, who was a friend of the family), Marie and Sophie de Silberhorn, Adele Le Bret, Nestor Joly. - The drawings with 3 views and 1 lady embroidering, including Schaffhausen, signed Eug. Moritz (dated 1844). - The lithograph with a view of Heidelberg Castle. - 1 small leaflet with handwritten notes and 1 leaflet with verses enclosed. - Leaves removed, some slightly creased and brown-stained, overall in good condition.
