Lot 38 Klaus Staudt. o.T. (6-2005). 2000. Relief. …
o.T. (6-2005). 2000. Relief. Prachtvolles Exemplar in visuell spielerischer Wirkung.
Geometrical Abstraction – Relief. Tracing paper, folded and die-cut, with cobalt-blue silkscreen on wove paper. Signed, dated, titled and numbered. Spot-mounted to Underlying mat, framed under glass. - Silkscreen with slight superficial abrasions in spots, partly due to tracing paper, visible only openedin beam light, all in all very good and impeccably nice. Splendid work. - One of 20 copies. - In his artistic work, Staudt repeatedly draws on the geometric form of the square, arranging it in rhythmic sequences to great visual effect. The resulting playful compositions come together to form visually sophisticated, three-dimensional objects which are displayed in plexiglas cases. As light falls on them, they appear to be set in motion, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow across a spectrum of luminous colors.
