Konzeptkunst – Die vorliegende Arbeit war Teil der Installation "Verloren in München" im Haus der Kunst München, die zur Veröffentlichung der von Christian Boltanski gestalteten, 46. Edition des SZ-Magazins am 14.11.1997 stattfand. Der französische Künstler erstellte anhand von Objekten, die zwischen dem 5. und 13. Oktober 1997 im Städtischen Fundbüro abgegeben wurden, ein fotografisches Portrait der Stadt. Das Werk steht charakteristisch für das OEuvre Boltanskis, der universelle Themen von Erinnerung und das Verschwinden individuellen Schicksals erörtert.

An impeccable conceptual work. - The present work formed part of the installation 'Lost in Munich' ('Verloren in München') at Haus der Kunst, Munich, staged in conjunction with the publication of the 46th edition of SZ-Magazin, designed by Christian Boltanski, on 14 November 1997. Drawing on objects handed in to the Municipal Lost Property Office between 5 and 13 October 1997, the French artist created a photographic portrait of the city. The work is characteristic of Boltanski's oeuvre, which explores universal themes of memory and the disappearance of individual destinies.

Premium and taxation
This piece is subject to differential taxation. There is a 29,5% buyer's premium on the hammer price. The value added tax is included but not displayable according to §25a UstG.

Shipping
A pickup of this work is possible in our premises at Potsdamer Str. 16, 14163 Berlin by appointment. If you wish a shipment of the work, please contact us for a consultation and shipping calculation. Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
