Mädchen zwischen Blattpflanzen. 1912. Farbholzschnitt auf Japanpapier. 27,5 x 37,5 cm (35 x 46,5 cm). Monogrammiert im Druck. - Einrisse (ca. 0,5 bis 3 cm) in den Rändern. Im unteren Rand mit etwas Materialverlust. Ecken leicht knickspurig. Verso mit Montagespuren am oberen Rand. Vereinzelt kleine Braunflecken sowie vereinzelt dezente Oberflächenbereibung. Insgesamt guter Zustand. Fein nuancierte, atmosphärisch dichte Arbeit mit großer zeichnerischer und farblicher Sensibilität.

Klassische Moderne – Karsch, 3 II A. Späterer Abzug aus einer der nach 1945 bzw. 1952 gedruckten Auflagen. Gesamtauflage ca. 500 Exemplare. Nachträglich von Maschka Müller monogrammiert. Gedruckt von Eugen Meyerhofer. - Müllers Holzschnitte bestechen durch ihre klare, flächige Gestaltung und die Konzentration auf das Wesentliche. Sie bestechen durch eine reduzierte Formensprache, rhythmisch geführte Konturen und eine enge Verbindung von Mensch und Natur.

Traces of mounting on the reverse along the upper edge. Occasional small brown spots and minor surface abrasions in places. Overall in good condition. Finely nuanced and atmospheric work of remarkable graphic and chromatic sensitivity. - Karsch, 3 II A. - Later impression from one of the editions printed after 1945 or 1952. Total edition of approximately 500 impressions. Subsequently monogrammed by Maschka Müller. Printed by Eugen Meyerhofer. - Müller's woodcuts are distinguished by their clear, planar compositions and their concentration on essential forms. Characteristic are the reduced visual language, rhythmically flowing contours, and the close relationship between figure and nature.
