Lot 256 Max Ackermann. Ohne Titel. (Konstruktive, …

Ohne Titel. (Konstruktive, geometrisierende Komposition). 1973. Pastell auf schwarzem Velin. 50 x 32,5 cm. Signiert und datiert. Gerahmt unter Glas, ungeöffnet. - Insgesamt augenscheinlich sehr gut. Stimmungsvolle und farbintensive Komposition.

Klassische Moderne – Provenienz: aus dem Nachlass des Künstlers. - ACK-Nr. 1467.

Classical Modernism – Pastel on black vellum. Signed and dated. Framed under glass, unopened. - Overall seemingly in very good condition. An atmospheric and richly coloured composition.- In the early 20th century, Max Ackermann initially studied sculpture under Richard Müller at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden and later painting under Franz von Stuck in Munich. Around 1941, the artist moved away from figurative and representational art, devoting himself exclusively to abstraction in his works from 1950 onwards. The intensity of the colours in this drawing, created just two years before his death, is characteristic of Ackermann. Influenced by his stay by the sea in Tenerife, he is regarded as the painter of the colour blue and master of unfixed pastel.
