Ohne Titel. 1976. Chinatusche auf glattem Velin. 24,5 x 29,5 cm. Verso signiert, datiert und mit Werkangaben. - Eine Ecke minimal bestoßen und Oberfläche mit einer minimalen Anschmutzung. Insgesamt sehr gut. In kräftigen Strichen erfasste Komposition.
Deutsche Nachkriegsmoderne – Werknummer 76/365. - Einlage zur Vorzugsausgabe "Norbert Kricke", hrsg. von Jürgen Morschel, illustriert von Norbert Kricke, Hatje 1976. - Wir danken Frau Sabine Kricke-Güse für die hilfreiche Auskunft und Bestätigung der Authentizität der Arbeit. - Norbert Kricke absolviert Ende der 1940er Jahre seine Ausbildung als Meisterschüler bei Richard Scheibe an der Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin. Sein Oeuvre umfasst raumgreifende Metallplastiken, aus hauptsächlich filigranen Stahlstäben. Die monumentalen Plastiken, die wie freie Zeichnungen im Raum anmuten, finden ihre zeichnerische Übersetzung in den Tuschearbeiten des Künstlers auf Papier. Kricke gilt als einer der bedeutendsten Vertreter der Deutschen Nachkriegsmoderne.
German Post War – Chinese ink on smooth vellum. Signed, dated and with work's indications on the reverse. - One corner is slightly bumped and the surface has a slight smudge. Overall in very good condition. A composition rendered in bold strokes. - Insert for the special Edition of 'Norbert Kricke', edited by Jürgen Morschel and illustrated by Norbert Kricke, Hatje 1976. - We thank Sabine Kricke-Güse for helpful information and for authentificating the work. - Norbert Kricke completed his training as a master student under Richard Scheibe at the Berlin University of the Arts in the late 1940s. His oeuvre comprises large-scale metal sculptures, mainly made of filigree steel rods. The monumental sculptures, which appear like free-standing drawings in space, find their graphic expression in the artist's ink works on paper. Kricke is regarded as one of the most significant representatives of post-war German modernism.
