Mathematik
Naturwissenschaften – Poggendorf 11,91 - Roller-G, 11,177 - Werk des deutschen Astronomen, Geographen, Kartographen, Mathematikers und Physikers Tobias Meyer (1723-1762). Aufgrund des Fehlens von Mathematik als Lehrfach an der deutschen Schule und der Lateinschule in Esslingen brachte er sich sein mathematisches Wissen selbst bei und veröffentlichte bereits 1745 den Mathematischen Atlas, aus dem die vorliegenden Tafeln stammen. Auch vor allem im astronomischen Bereich trug er mit dem Mayerschen Spiegelkreis zur Verbesserung astronomischer Messungen bei. - Randläsuren. Fleckig, tls. leicht beschabt. Insgesamt gut erhalten mit schönem Kolorit.
Natural Sciences – Mathematics - With 29 loose, mostly colored plates. - Work by German astronomer, geographer, cartographer, mathematician, and physicist Tobias Meyer (1723-1762). Due to the absence of mathematics as a subject at the German school and Latin school in Esslingen, he taught himself mathematics and published the Mathematical Atlas in 1745, from which the present plates originate. He also contributed to the improvement of astronomical measurements with the Mayer's Spiegelkreis. - Marginal damage. Stained, partly slightly scuffed. Overall in good condition with beautiful coloration.
