Naturwissenschaften – Pritzel 6954. - Nissen, BBI 1491 - Stafleu-C. 7372. - Großformatiger Tafelband mit 6 detaillierten Darstellungen der Baumwollpflanze, je mit Erklärung der versch. gezeigten Bestandteile wie Blüten, Knospen, Samen, u.a. - Die Tafeln nach Zeichnungen von G. Mochi, lithographiert von A. Menici. - Ohne den Textband. - Papierbedingt zart gebräunt, das Titelbl. mit kl. restaurierten Schaden, im Blattrand meist etw. (stock)fleckig (die Vorsätze hiervon etw. stärker betroffen) u. knickspurig, ingsesamt jedoch gut erhaltenes Exemplar, die Tafeln in schöner, naturnaher Farbgebung.

Natural Sciences – Botany - With 6 (of which 5 colored) lith. Plates. Orig. half cloth with cover title (slightly more stained, creased, spine with defects and somewhat brittle). - Large-format volume of plates with 6 detailed depictions of the cotton plant, each with an explanation of the various components shown, such as flowers, buds, seeds, etc. - The plates based on drawings by G. Mochi, lithographed by A. Menici. - Without the text volume. - Slightly browned due to the paper, the title page with small restored damage, mostly somewhat (fox)stained in the sheet margin (the endpapers are slightly more affected by) and creased, overall, however, a well-preserved copy, the plates in beautiful, near-to-nature colours.
