In the original publisher's illustrated wrappers, with 1 partially mounted colour lino-cut on the front cover and 4 full-paged lino-cuts in black. - For references see above. - First edition with this selection of poems by the doyen of the Hungarian avant-garde, Lajos Kassák. One of the milestones of Herwath Walden's publishing house 'Der Sturm', Kassák illustrated the book with stunningly inspired constructivist lino-cuts and used strong experimental typography. Title leaves including colophon and one of the typographical experiments also printed as lino-cuts. - Slightly browned due to the paper, overall this fragile brochure is in exceptionally good condition.
