Mit 2 Original-Illustrationen, wovon eine nach Zeichnung von V. Barthe und einer großen lithographischen Abbildung nach Kostümentwurf von N. Gontscharowa, sowie einem Noten-Faksimile nach G. Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Drei spektakuläre Programmzettel in gelb, rosa und blau zum Kostümball der internationalen Pariser Avantgarde anlässlich Olympia 1924. - Bolliger VI, 715 (im Konvolut mit Programmheft und Eintrittskarte). Selten, laut Selbstankündigung wurden nur 300 der Programmzettel aufgelegt. - In den 1920er Jahren veranstaltete die »L'Union des Artistes Russes«, ein Zusammenschluss der in Paris lebenden russischen Künstler, mehrere legendäre Bälle, die auch als Happenings avant la lettre gelten können: "Grand Bal des Artistes" (1923), "Bal Banal" (1924), "Bal de la Grande Ourse" (1925) und den hier annoncierten "Bal Olympique" im Jahr 1924. Das auf dem Zettel abgedruckte Programm des als "wahrer Ball des Sports" angekündigten Spektakels, eigentlich eine künstlerische Persiflage auf die kurz davor in Paris abgehaltenen Olympischen Sommerspiele 1924, umfasste Tänze, ein Puppentheater, Musikeinlagen, Tristan Tzaras "Spektakel auf der Leiter", eine Rezitation von Iliazd, u.v.m. - 50 Künstler der in Paris zahlreich versammelten internationalen Avantgarde, darunter George Braque, Marc Chagall, Robert und Sonia Delaunay, Foujita, Man Ray, F. T. Marinetti, Henry Matisse, Francis Picabia, Pablo Picasso, Ossip Zadkine, nahmen an der Gestaltung des Ballsaals teil, die in einer Stunde geschehen musste. Auch gestalteten die Teilnehmer das Programm und verschiedener Drucksorten, u.a. Programmheft, der vorliegende Programmzettel, Einladungsschreiben und Eintrittskarten. - Mit einer vollständigen Liste der teilnehmenden Künstler. Die Illustration von Gontscharowa betitelt: "Projet de Costume pour le Bal Olympique pouvant servir aux deux sexes. Recommandé aux personnes pressées." - Etwas lichtrandig. 1 Bl. etw. knitterig und mit kurzem Randeinriss. Vereinzelt minimale Randläsuren. Je mit geglätteten Falzen. Wohlerhalten.

Goncharova to protomte the costume ball of the international Parisian avant-garde on the occasion of the 1924 Olympics. - For references see above. - Scarce, according to the organizers themselves, only 300 of the posters were printed. - In the 1920s, the "L'Union des Artistes Russes," an association of Russian artists living in Paris, organized several legendary balls, which can also be considered happenings avant la lettre: "Grand Bal des Artistes" (1923), "Bal Banal" (1924), "Bal de la Grande Ourse" (1925), and the "Bal Olympique" announced here in 1924. T. Marinetti, Henry Matisse, Francis Picabia, Pablo Picasso, and Ossip Zadkine, participated in the design of the ballroom, which had to be completed within one hour. The participants also designed the program and various printed materials, including the program booklet, the present program poster, which is printed on both sides, as well as invitations, and tickets. - With a complete list of participating artists. The illustration by Goncharova is titled: "Costume Project for the Olympic Ball that can serve two sexes. Recommended for those in attendance." - Some light shelf-wear at the edges. One leaf slightly creased with a minimal short tear at the edge. Each with flattened folds. Well preserved.
