The edition is largely based on the textual criticism of the renowned philologist Dionysius Lambinus. For centuries, his corrections and annotations were regarded as authoritative for understanding Cicero's style and philosophy. - Endpapers with notes and an old library stamp (illegible) and minor wormholes, title page with owner's mark, partly slightly browned.
