Alte Drucke, Bibeln, Klassische Autoren in den Originalsprachen – Umfangreiche, bedeutende Gesamtausgabe Ciceros. - Schweiger II/1, 106. - Die Opera omnia umfassen Ciceros rhetorische Schriften, seine philosophischen Abhandlungen (wie De officiis), die Reden sowie seine umfangreiche Korrespondenz. Die Edition basiert maßgeblich auf der Textkritik des berühmten Philologen Dionysius Lambinus. Seine Korrekturen und Anmerkungen galten über Jahrhunderte als maßgeblich für das Verständnis von Ciceros Stil und Philosophie. - Vorsätze mit Notizen und altem Bibl.-Stempel (unleserlich) u. kleinen Wurmspuren, Drucktitel mit Besitzvermerk, teils leicht gebräunt.

Prints before 1600, Bibles, Classics in Original Languages – The Opera omnia comprise Cicero's rhetorical writings, his philosophical treatises (such as *De officiis*), his orations, and his extensive correspondence. The edition is largely based on the textual criticism of the renowned philologist Dionysius Lambinus. For centuries, his corrections and annotations were regarded as authoritative for understanding Cicero's style and philosophy. - Endpapers with notes and an old library stamp (illegible) and minor wormholes, title page with owner's mark, partly slightly browned.
