Es finden sich auch scharfe Ausfälle gegen das Ablasswesen und die Wallfahrten." - Einziger Jahrgang dieses Almanaches mit Holzschnittnoten und den Kupfern von J.W. Meil. - Titelei mit ausradierten Bleistiftkritzeleien, 1 Bl. mit kl. Eckabriss, letztes Bl. im Seitenrand angeschmutzt, 4 S. mit kurzen Bleistiftanmerkungen, sonst insg. gut erhalten.

Contemp. blue cardboard with title and floral cover decoration (rubbed, creased and bumped). - Identical to the first edition of 1788 digitised in VD 18 (VD18 10637079). - Hayn-G. I, 54: 'Contains very sharp anti-Catholic satires. The copperplate engravings illustrate scenes from the lives of the saints in a satirical manner. There are also sharp attacks on the sale of indulgences and pilgrimages.' (Transl.). - Only volume of this almanac with woodcut notes and copperplate engravings by J.W. Meil. - Title page with erased pencil scribbles, 1 leaf with small corner tear-off, last leaf soiled in the margin, 4 pages with short pencil notes, otherwise in overall good condition.
