Prints before 1600, Bibles, Classics in Original Languages – Classical Philology. - A substantial German Sammelband containing three editions of the famous satires by the Roman poets Juvenal and Persius Flaccus, each with wood-cut printer's devices. - Each edition features detailed Latin commentary in the margins and footnotes. The edition by Halbmayer includes an index. - With underlining and marginalia, the book blocks have been trimmed by the contemporary bookbinder, but without any loss of text. - Partially browned, with finger stains and soiled in places and in the margins, grosso modo a solidly preserved 17th-century Sammelband.
