Großer Holzparavent aus 10 rostrot und braun lackierten Paneelen, die inneren je vorwiegend in Goldfarbe auf rotem Lack dekorativ mit Tempelszenen, Drachen und Weihrauchgefäßen bemalt. Das äußerste Paneel je von etwa halber Breite u. mit eingelassenen Schriftzeichen. China, wohl um 1850. 167 x 265 x 3 cm. - Das Holz an den Kanten teils leicht abgestoßen. Stellenweise kleinere Beschädigungen des Lacks. Die Farbe teils minimal abgetragen.

Paintings, drawings and prints 16th to 19th century – Unusually wide wooden screen with 10 laquered panels, the inner ones painted mainly in golden colour on red laquer with temple scenes, dragons and incense holders. Outer panels measure about half in width and are embossed and painted with Chinese characters. China, probably around 1850. - Wood partially somewhat chipped on edges and corners. Laquer slightly damaged in places. Some minimal fading of the colour.
