Skulptur

Gemälde, Zeichnungen u. Grafiken 16. bis 19. Jhd. – Meisterhaft ausgeführtes Relief der Grablegung Christi. Dargestellt ist Jesus in den Armen seiner Jünger mit zwei assistierenden Putten, der Heiligen Muttergottes und Maria Magdalena. Im Hintergrund sehen wir die Stadtkulisse von Jerusalem sowie den Berg Golgatha. In der detaillierten Ausarbeitung der bewegten Posen sowie der Gesichter und fein punzierten Gewänder zeigt sich die Virtuosität des Bildhauers auf eindrückliche Weise. Die Punzierung auf dem Gewand des rechten Jüngers weist auf eine südeuropäische Herkunft hin. - Einige wenige Altersspuren und minimale Verluste der Oberfläche, die punktuell fachmännisch ergänzt wurden. Die Oberfläche mit erneuertem Lack.

Paintings, drawings and prints 16th to 19th century – Masterfully executed relief of the Entombment of Christ. Jesus is depicted in the arms of his disciples with two assisting putti, the Holy Mother of God and Mary Magdalene. In the background we see the cityscape of Jerusalem and Mount Golgotha. The carver's virtuosity is impressively evident in the detailed carving of the moving poses, the faces and the finely chased robes. - A few age cracks and minimal losses to the surface, which have been expertly repaired in places. The surface with renewed varnish.
