Reise-Triptychon. 19. Jahrhundert. Tempera auf Eichenholz, mit Gold gehöht. Je ca. 7,8 x 7,5 cm. In faltbarem Messingrahmen mit Messingbeschlägen gefasst. - Messing mit Oxidationsspuren, Messingbeschläge teilweise fehlend, Holz mit Abplatzungen und Spannungsrissen, Farbe dezent craqueliert und mit Abplatzungen. Insgesamt gut. Prachtvolle, filigrane Arbeit.

Religiöse Kunst

Gemälde, Zeichnungen u. Grafiken 16. bis 19. Jhd. – Reisealtar mit der zentralen Darstellung der Kreuzigung Christi mit Maria, Maria Magdalena, dem Apostel Johannes und Longinus, sowie der personifizierten Darstellung der Sonne und des Mondes. Zur Linken die Hadesfahrt mit der zentralen Darstellung Christi mit Siegesfahne und zur Rechten die Himmelfahrt Christi mit der Gottesmutter und den Aposteln.

Set in a folding brass frame with brass fittings. - Brass showing signs of oxidation, some brass fittings missing, wood with flaking and stress cracks, paint showing subtle craquelure and flaking. Overall in good condition. Magnificent, delicate workmanship. - Portable altarpiece with a central depiction of the Crucifixion of Christ with Mary, Mary Magdalene, the Apostle John and Longinus, as well as personified representations of the Sun and the Moon. On the left, the Descent into Hades with a central depiction of Christ bearing the banner of victory, on the right, the Ascension of Christ with the Mother of God and the Apostles.
