Jhd. – Biblische Darstellung der Szene der Heimsuchung aus dem Lukasevangelium (Lk 1,39-56), in der Maria die schwangere Elisabeth nach der Verkündigung besucht. Im Zentrum der Komposition stehen Maria in blauem und Elisabeth in ockerfarbenem Gewand vor einer weitläufigen Landschaft. Die Architekturfragmente im Hintergrund deuten auf den historischen Kontext der Szene hin. Die Anlehnung an die italienische Renaissance wird hier durch die statuenhafte Ruhe der Figuren und die feine Ausarbeitung der Faltenwürfe der Gewänder deutlich.

At the centre of the composition are Mary, dressed in blue, and Elizabeth, dressed in ochre, set against a sweeping landscape. The architectural fragments in the background allude to the historical context of the scene. The influence of the Italian Renaissance is evident here in the statuesque calm of the figures and the delicate rendering of the drapery.
