Aus einem Dorf in Tunaslätten (Dalarna). Um die 1910er Jahre. Öl auf Leinwand. 99 x 72,5 cm. Signiert und verso am Keilrahmen in Schwedisch betitelt sowie mit Etikett, dort mit weiteren Werksangaben in Deutsch. Gerahmt. - Punktuell einige wenige Farbabplatzer. Mit altersbedingtem Craquelée. Vereinzelt weiße Wachsspritzer auf der Maloberfläche. Insgesamt in gutem Zustand. Prächtige Schneelandschaft bei strahlendem Sonnenschein.

Landschaften - Schweden

Gemälde, Zeichnungen u. Grafiken 16. bis 19. Jhd. – Provenienz: - deutscher Privatbesitz. - aus deutschem Firmenbesitz, dort als Schenkung zum Firmenjubiläum erhalten. - Schwedischer Maler, der an der Kunstakademie in Stockholm studierte. Sein Oeuvre ist geprägt von zahlreichen Landschaftsansichten der schwedischen Peripherie, die er in prachtvollen, häufig winterlichen Ansichten festhielt. Stilistisch sind Schultzenbergs Arbeiten der realistischen Landschaftsmalerei zuzuordnenden, hierbei ist ein Einfluss der Düsseldorfer Malerschule zu erkennen, die der Maler kannte. Werke von Schultzberg sind unter Anderem in der Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Stockholm und National Gallery of Denmark - Statens Museum for Kunst, Copenhagen vertreten. - In unserer Arbeit ist das Dorf "Tunaslätten" in der Region Dalarna in Schweden dargestellt.

Occasional white wax splashes on the painting surface. At all in good condition. Splendid snowy landscape in bright sunshine.
