Sammlung von 89, wovon 35 farbigen Glasdiapositiven mit Aufnahmen einer Reise durch Palästina (61) und Abbildungen von Kunstwerken mit religiöser Motivik (28). O. O. (u.a. Leipzig und Jerusalem), u.a. Hentschel (20), o. J. (ca. 1905). 8,5 x 8,5 cm bzw. 10 x 8,5 cm. Je zwischen 2 Chlorbromsilberplatten im schmalen schwarzen Papierrahmen und mit hs. oder gedruckter Nummerierung und Bezeichnung auf zwischen den Platten oder außen montierten Papieretiketten. Lose eingelegt bzw. -gestellt in einer Holz- und zwei Kartonschachteln (wovon 1 mit Etikett von Perutz, Trockenplattten-Fabrik, Mchn.) d. Zt. (bestoßen, beschabt).

Photographie - Photographen – Umfangreiche unikale Sammlung mit beeindruckenden Privataufnahmen aus Palästina um 1900. - Die 61 Reisedias zeigen Ansichten, Gebäude und Straßenszenen von und in u.a. Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Jaffa sowie (Gruppen von) Personen meist arabischer Einheimischer. Bei liegt das achtseitige Fragment eines undatierten Reiseberichts, geschrieben mit schwarzer Tinte auf 2 linierten Doppelbögen. - 20 der Dias mit Etiketten des "Kunst-Verlags Bruno Hentschel, Leipzig". Bruno Hentschel, seit 1890 in Leipzig firmierend, betrieb seit der Jahrhundertwende in Jerusalem eine Dependance. - Gut erhalten.

Photography – Extensive and unique collection with impressive private photographs from Palestine around 1900. - The 61 travel slides show views, buildings, and street scenes of and in, among other places, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Jaffa, as well as (groups of) people mostly from the Arabic population. Included is an eight-page fragment of an undated travelogue, written in black ink on two lined sheets of paper. - 20 of the slides bear labels from the "Art Publisher Bruno Hentschel, Leipzig." Bruno Hentschel, based in Leipzig since 1890, operated a branch in Jerusalem from the turn of the century. - Well preserved.
