Prints and Engravings - Views – Oil on painting cardboard, mounted. Signed and subsequently inscribed on the back of the frame. Framed. - Varnished and slightly yellowed, abrasion on the edges, as well as slight craquelure and slight water stains on the back. A retouch is visible at the bottom right under UV light. Overall very good, colours fresh. - Our view shows the Leoplodsberg in the Viennese district of Döbling. Through the atmospheric lighting and impressionistic brushwork, the Austrian-Czech painter emphasises the impassability of the mountain during a thunderstorm.
