Wien, 4.III.1911. 113 S. in sauberer schwarzer Feder. 4° Schwarzer Leinenband der Zeit mit goldgepragtem Deckeltitel (gering berieben).

IX, 90 S., 1 Bl., 4 Falttabellen, 1 Bl., der Hauptteil lithographiert. 25,5 x 19 cm. Biegsamer schwarzgepragter Original-Leinenband (etwas berieben und bestossen). - Mit eigenhandiger Widmung des Verfassers fur (Hofrat) Haardt von Hartenthurn, 23.XII.1910. - Beide Bande mit entwidmetem Exlibris sowie Stempel des k.k. militar.-geographischen Instituts, der Druck mit zeitgenossischem handschriftlichen Querverweis auf die Ubersetzung "unter gleicher Nummer". Die Handschrift folgt dem Druck nicht seitengleich, ansonsten in Duktus und Inhalt akribisch, einschliesslich kartographischer Symbole im Rand. Die Falttafeln des Druckes sind auf Doppelblatter zusammengezogen. - Druck etwas gebraunt, obere Ecken mit Knickspur, die Handschrift frisch.

Vienna, 4 March 1911. 113 pp. German manuscript in neat black pen. Accompanied by the original: Lecture des cartes russes. Indications linguistiques, géographiques et topographiques. Paris, Chapelot, 1907. IX, 90 pp., 1 leaf, 4 folded tables, 1 leaf, the main text lithographed. 25.5 x 19 cm. Flexible original linen binding with black embossing (some wear and scuffing). - With a handwritten dedication by the author to (Hofrat) Haardt von Hartenthurn, 23 December 1910. - Both volumes bear a defaced bookplate and the stamp of the Imperial and Royal Military-Geographical Institute, the printed volume contains a contemporary handwritten cross-reference to the translation 'under the same number'. The manuscript does not correspond to the printed edition page-for-page, but is otherwise meticulous in style and content, including cartographic symbols in the margins. The fold-out plates of the printed edition have been joined together on double sheets. - Printed edition slightly browned, upper corners with crease marks, the manuscript is in fresh condition.
