Geometrische Abstraktion - Op Art – Mit Color stripes (Kinetisches Bild) führt Max Coor seine Auseinandersetzung mit den Prinzipien der Konkreten und Kinetischen Kunst konsequent fort. Aufbauend auf klaren geometrischen Strukturen und einer systematischen Farbgestaltung, erzeugt das Werk durch das strukturierte Nebeneinander verschiedenfarbiger Acrylstäbe eine intensive visuelle Dynamik. Die farbigen Stäbe sind in zwei Ebenen präzise übereinander montiert und lassen je nach Blickwinkel wechselnde Farbwirkungen und eine subtile Tiefenstruktur entstehen. Die Bewegungsempfindung basiert auf dem Zusammenspiel von Farbkontrast, räumlicher Verschränkung und der körperhaften Qualität der Materialien, wodurch die Wahrnehmung in ständiger Bewegung gehalten wird: Farben scheinen zu vibrieren, der Raum zwischen den Ebenen wirkt mal flach, mal tief, und die Grenzen zwischen Bild und Objekt werden kontinuierlich hinterfragt. Coor gelingt es so, eine sinnliche Räumlichkeit zu erschaffen, die sich nicht auf das Optische beschränkt, sondern zur aktiven Erkundung einlädt.

Splendid, intense colouring. - With Color Stripes (Kinetic Picture), Max Coor consistently continues his exploration of the principles of concrete and kinetic art. Based on clear geometric structures and a systematic colour scheme, the work creates an intense visual dynamic through the structured juxtaposition of different coloured acrylic rods. The coloured rods are precisely mounted on top of each other in two planes, creating changing colour effects and a subtle depth structure depending on the viewing angle. The sensation of movement is based on the interplay of colour contrast, spatial entanglement and the physical quality of the materials, which keeps the perception in constant motion: colours seem to vibrate, the space between the planes appears sometimes flat, sometimes deep, and the boundaries between image and object are continuously questioned. Coor thus succeeds in creating a sensual spatiality that is not limited to the visual, but invites active exploration.
