Geometrische Abstraktion - Op Art – Die Komposition besteht vorwiegend aus Rechtecken, Kreisen und Linien, die in verschiedenen Rost-Brauntönen, Schwarz, Silbergrau und Salbeigrün ausgeführt sind. Die Flächen wirken durch die Aquatinta-Technik texturiert, wobei einige Formen wie Schatten oder Bewegungseffekte erzeugen. Die Anordnung der Elemente vermittelt ein Gefühl von Balance und Spannung, typisch für Pol Burys Interesse an kinetischer Kunst und visueller Bewegung. Pol Bury war bekannt für seine kinetischen Objekte und graphischen Arbeiten, bei denen geometrische Formen in Bewegung versetzt werden oder den Eindruck von Bewegung erzeugen. Die hier gezeigte Aquatinta ist ein gutes Beispiel für seinen minimalistischen und zugleich spielerischen Umgang mit Fläche, Form und Textur. Diese Aquatinta vereint klar strukturierte Geometrie mit poetischer Bewegung und gehört somit zu den typischen grafischen Arbeiten Pol Burys, die zwischen konstruktivistischer Strenge und Dynamik vermittelt.

Magnificent, color-fresh and striking print with distinctive embossing and strong contrasts. - The composition consists mainly of rectangles, circles, and lines in various shades of rust brown, black, silver gray, and sage green. The surfaces appear textured due to the aquatint technique, with some shapes creating shadows or movement effects. The arrangement of the elements conveys a sense of balance and tension, typical of Pol Bury's interest in kinetic art and visual movement. Pol Bury was known for his kinetic objects and graphic works in which geometric shapes are set in motion or create the impression of movement. The aquatint shown here is a good example of his minimalist yet playful approach to surface, form, and texture. This aquatint combines clearly structured geometry with poetic movement and is thus one of Pol Bury's typical graphic works, which mediates between constructivist rigor and dynamism.
