Der Psalter. Nach der Übersetzung Dr. Martin Luthers mit vier Bildern von Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld in Holzschnitten. Mit Widmungen und beiliegenden Dankesschreiben von u. a. Karl Immanuel Nitzsch, Friedrich August Eyssenhardt und Ludwig Jonas, sowie Berliner Einrichtungen. Leipzig, Verlag von Georg Wigand, 1855. 15 Bll., VI, 4 Bll., 82 S. Folio. Ldr. mit goldgepr. DFileten und Titeln, sowie Goldschnitt und Innenkantenvergoldung (berieben und bestoßen, tls. beschabt, Rücken restauriert).

Theologie und Religionswissenschaften – Geschenk an den Berliner Superintendanten Ernst Sigismund Ferdinand Schultz zu seinem 50. Dienstjubiläums am 19.03.1856. Der prachtvoll gestaltete Psalter enthält deutsche, griechische, lateinisce und hebräische Widmungen der 33 Synodalen. Ihm liegen darüber hinaus Dankesschreiben und Abschiedsgrüße verschiedener Berliner Institutionen und dem Berliner Magistrat aus dem Jahr 1863 bei. Darunter sind die Städtische Schuldeputation, die Direktion der Armenspeisungsanstalt, die Direktion der Gewerbeschulen und der Präsident und die Mitglieder des Evangelischen Oberen Kirchenrats. - Stockfleckig. Insgesamt sehr gut erhalten.

Theology and Religious Studies – With dedications and enclosed letters of thanks from, among others, Karl Immanuel Nitzsch, Friedrich August Eyssenhardt, and Ludwig Jonas, as well as Berlin institutions. Leather with gold-stamped fillets and titles, as well as gilt edges and inner edges (rubbed and bumped, partly scraped, spine restored). - A gift to the Berlin superintendent Ernst Sigismund Ferdinand Schultz on the occasion of his 50th anniversary of service on March 19, 1856. This magnificently designed psalter contains German, Greek, Latin, and Hebrew dedications from the 33 synod members. It also includes letters of thanks and farewell greetings from various Berlin institutions and the Berlin magistrate from 1863. Among them are the municipal school deputation, the directorate of the poorhouse, the directorate of the trade schools, and the president and members of the Evangelical Higher Church Council. - Mildew stained. Overall, very well preserved.
