Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Nicht bei Weis/Fuchs. - Eines von 60 Exemplaren. - Ernst Fuchs war ein österreichischer Künstler und Mitbegründer der Wiener Schule des Phantastischen Realismus. Sein druckgraphisches Werk vereint religiöse Symbolik, Mythologie und Erotik, wobei besonders seine detailreichen Aktdarstellungen auffallen. Ein zentrales Motiv ist Delilah, die er als verführerische, geheimnisvolle Figur inszenierte. Technisch nutzte Fuchs meisterhafte Radier- und Lithographietechniken, oft mit feinen Linien und Schraffuren, die an alte Meister wie Dürer erinnern. Durch präzise Druckverfahren erzielte er leuchtende Kontraste und eine sich überlagernde Tiefenwirkung, die seine mystischen Kompositionen verstärkte. - Wenige winzige, punktelle Flecken. Insgesamt sehr gut. Prachtvoller, filigraner und samtiger Druck mit breitem Rand und umlaufenden Schöpfrand. - Beigabe: Originales Ausstellungsplakat mit dem Motiv als Serigraphie auf Ingres Velin (mit Wz.).

Signed and numbered. - Not in Weis/Fuchs. - One of 60 copies. - Ernst Fuchs was an Austrian artist and co-founder of the Viennese School of Fantastic Realism. His graphic work combines religious symbolism, mythology and eroticism, whereby his detailed depictions of nudes are particularly striking. A central motif is Delilah, whom he staged as a seductive, mysterious figure. Technically, Fuchs utilised masterful etching and lithography techniques, often with fine lines and hatching reminiscent of old masters such as Dürer. Using precise printing techniques, he achieved luminous contrasts and an overlapping effect of depth that emphasised his mystical compositions. - A few tiny dotted stains. Very good overall. Splendid, filigree and velvety print with wide margins and surrounding scoop edge. - Enclosed: Original exhibition poster with the motif as a serigraph on Ingres wove paper (with watermark).
