Jahrhundert auf Anweisung des Nürnberger Rats eine Rezension der Institutionen des Kaisers Iustinian. Der Nürnberger Stadtrat arbeitete an einer Kritik des Corpus juris civilis. Diese sollte im Hinblick auf eine Reform des Nürnberger Stadtrechtes erscheinen. - Ränder leicht gebräunt, leicht fleckig. Holzdruck vor Seite 1mit großen Fehlstellen. Insgesamt ein sehr gut erhaltenes Exemplar.

Prints before 1600, Bibles, Classics in Original Languages – Blind-embossed leather with leather clasps (bumped, slight tears in the leather, lower clasp missing). - First edition. - Very rare. - Not traceable for us in the KVK. - The German jurist Gregor Haloander wrote a review of the institutions of Emperor Iustinian in the early 16th century on the instructions of the Nuremberg City Council. The Nuremberg City Council was working on a critique of the Corpus juris civilis. This was to be published with a view to reforming Nuremberg's municipal law. - Margins slightly browned, slightly stained. Woodcut before page 1 with large defects. Overall a very well-preserved copy.
