Diese Ausgabe nicht bei Adams. - Wundervoll illustrierte Gebetssammlung von Cornelio Musso (1511-1574), Bischof von Bitonto und einer der bedeutendsten Bischöfe des Konzils von Trient, wo er die Eröffnungsrede hielt. Musso gilt als einer der größten geistlichen Redner seiner Zeit. - Vorsätze mit zeitgen. Annotationen und Kritzeleien. Papierbedingt etwas gebräunt und fleckig. Einige sehr wenige zeitgen. Marginalien. Teils leicht wasserrandig. Wohlerhalten.

Prints before 1600, Bibles, Classics in Original Languages – 3 parts in 3 vols. With a total of 3 woodcut printer's marks on the title, 2 woodcut printer's marks at the end, 29 partly repeated woodcuts and numerous figural woodcut initials. - Bound with: see above. With figural woodcut title border. Cont. flexible vellum bindings (with strong signs of wear). - Beautifully illustrated collection of prayers by Cornelio Musso (1511-1574), Bishop of Bitonto and one of the most important bishops at the Council of Trent, where he delivered the opening address. Musso is considered one of the greatest spiritual orators of his time. - Endpapers with contemp. annotations and scribbles. Paper somewhat browned and stained. A few very few contemp. marginalia. Partly slightly waterstained. Well preserved.
