Der Teutsche Merkur. Bd. 21-24, 4 Vierteljahre. (gesamter Jg.) in 4 Bden. Mit 1 gest. Frontispiz. Weimar, 1778. Kl.-8°. HLdr. d. Zt. mit mont. RSchild u. RVergoldung (etw. beschabt, berieben u. bestoßen, Bd. 23 mit fehlendem RSchild u. kl. Defekten an Kapitalen).

Jahrhunderts – Starnes, Der Teutsche Merkur Nr. 200. - Fiedler 42.5. - Der Teutsche Merkur wurde von 1773 bis 1789 von Christoph Martin Wieland als Literaturzeitschrift in Weimar in jährlich je 12 Stücken herausgegeben. Die Zeitschrift erschien zunächst vierteljährlich, ab 1775 dann monatlich. - Die OUmschläge je mit eingebunden. - Meist ohne die gest. Frontispize, etw. gebräunt u. durchgehend etw. braun u. stockfleckig. Insgesamt gut.

Cont. half leather bindings with mounted label a. gilt spine (slightly scuffed, rubbed a. bumped, vol 23 the label o. spine missing, capitals with small defects). - The "Teutsche Merkur" was published from 1773 to 1789 by Christoph Martin Wieland as a literary journal in Weimar in 12 issues per year. The journal was initially published quarterly, then monthly from 1775. - The original wrappers each bound in. - Mostly without the engraved frontispieces. Frontispieces, somewhat browned and foxed throughout. Overall well preserved.
