Geographie und Reisen – Sabin 38480. - Der in Paris geborene Mathematiker und Astronom Charles-Marie de la Condamine trug durch seine Beobachtungen auf der zehnjährigen Reise in den Amazonas wesentlich zu dem Verständnis der Geographie, Flora und Fauna der Region bei. - Ränder minimal gebräunt. Insgesamt sehr gut erhalten.

Geography and Travel – South America. - With an engraved frontispiece and a further copper plate. Cardboard with a hand-written label and red edges (bumped and rubbed). - The Paris-born mathematician and astronomer Charles-Marie de la Condamine contributed significantly to the understanding of the geography, flora and fauna of the region through his observations on his ten-year journey to the Amazon. - Margins minimally browned. Overall in very good condition.
