Naturwissenschaften – Vorschlag über die Bildung einer deutschen phrenologischen Gesellschaft von von Struve enthalten. Die phrenologische Forschung in Deutschland, welche hier zu Lande wesentlich später als verbreitete Forschungsrichtung angesehen wurde als in Nordamerika, wurde wesentlich von den Forschungen und Werken Galls inspiriert. Von Struve plädiert im Vorwort dieses Bandes für die Wichtigkeit der phrenologische Forschung. - Ränder gebräunt, stockfleckig. Insgesamt gut erhalten.

Cardboard with gilt stamped label (rubbed, bumped, soiled). - Proposal for the formation of a German phrenological society by von Struve included. Phrenological research in Germany, which was regarded as a widespread field of research much later in this country than in North America, was largely inspired by the research and works of Gall. Von Struve argues for the importance of phrenological research in the preface to this volume. - Margins browned, foxing. Overall in good condition.
