Besitzeintrag von Ernst Zikl (?). - Basierend auf dem Wunsch zu Verstehen, wie das Gehirn und seine einzelnen Teile funktionieren, widmeten sich Gall und Spurzheim dem Studium des Gehirns. Hierbei stellten sie die These auf, dass man anhand von externen physischen Merkmalen auf das Verhalten von Menschen und Tieren schließen könne. - Ränder gebräunt. Insgesamt gut erhalten.

Leather with gold stamped cover fillets and spine plate (rubbed and bumped). - With handwritten ownership entry by Ernst Zikl (?). - Based on the desire to understand how the brain and its individual parts function, Gall and Spurzheim devoted themselves to the study of the brain. In doing so, they proposed the theory that one could infer the behavior of humans and animals based on external physical characteristics. - Browned edges. Overall, well preserved.
