Naturwissenschaften – Erste und wohl einzige Ausgabe. - VD18 11010827. - Seltene Einführung in die Grundrechnungsarten und ihre Anwendung im Geldverkehr. - Salomon Haase war laut Titelblatt "Rechenmeister in Darmstadt" und jedenfalls produktiver Verfasser populär-mathematischer Werke. Im gleichen Jahr wie vorliegendes Werk verlegte derselbe Verlag auch Haases "Vollständigen Müntz-Meister", 1773 war bereits eine "Rechen-Kunst" erschienen, und 1787 sollte eine "Selbstlehrende Rechen-Kunst" folgen. - Titeldruck teils mit Durchstreichungen von alter Hand, Titelbl. mit älterem Besitzervermerk, leicht stock- und braunfleckig, einige Blätter eselsohrig. Insgesamt solides Exemplar des selten angebotenen Titels. Für uns derzeit im Handel nicht und historisch auf Auktionen in nur einem Exemplar nachweisbar.

Natural Sciences – With small decorative title vignette and numerous vignettes, all wood-engraved. - First and probably only edition. - VD18 11010827. - Rare introduction to basic arithmetic and their application in monetary transactions. - According to the title page, Salomon Haase was a "master arithmetician in Darmstadt" and certainly a prolific author of popular mathematical works. The same publisher also published Haase's "Complete Müntz Master." in the same year like the present work. A "Rechen-Kunst" (Art of Calculating) had already been published in 1773, and a "Selbstlehrende Rechen-Kunst" (Self-Teaching Art of Calculating) was to follow in 1787. - Some letters of the title page partly crossed out by an old hand, as well as with an older owner's note, slightly foxed, soiled and stained, some leaves dog-eared. Overall, a solid copy of this rarely offered title. Currently not available for sale, and historically for uns only one copy traceable at auctions.
