Naturwissenschaften – Erste Ausgabe. - Nissen, ZBI 1209 - Dunkers ca. einjährige Beschäftigung auf den Steinkohlengruben bei Obernkirchen gaben ihm die Gelegenheit, die Schichten und die Fossilien der damals noch fast unbekannten norddeutschen Wealden-Formation zu studieren und zu sammeln. 1846 wurden die Ergebnisse in einer umfassenden, heute noch gültigen Monographie veröffentlicht, zu welcher er die Tafeln selbt meisterlich gezeichnet hatte. - Etwas stockfleckig, Ränder gebräunt.
