Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Je Nr. 22 von 50 Exemplaren auf Japan, wie hier vollständig als Textband gemeinsam mit Extrasuite von außerordentlicher Seltenheit. - Rodenberg, S. 365, 11. - Die Extrasuite mit allen 44 (recte 50, die 8 Initialen zu je 2 Blöcken zusammengefasst) satten und samtig wirkenden Holzschnitten des Textbandes auf 26 Blättern filigranen Japan-Papiers mit Prägestempel (Leda und der Schwan) und teils mit zweiseitigem Schöpfrand, alle partiell montiert unter den mit Blindstempel nummerierten Original-Passepartouts. 15 der Blätter alternativ auf intensiv gelbem Papier, der Rest auf naturfarbenem. - Gesetzt und gedruckt unter der Aufsicht von E. R. Weiß, vorliegender Vorzug gebunden in der Handabeilung von Spamer, Leipzig. - Sehr gut erhaltener Pressendruck. Für uns auf Auktionen vollständig zuletzt 1990 nachweisbar.

Modern Literature and Art – Copies nos. 22 of 50 copies each of the de luxe edition on Japanese laid paper, complete like present with bound volume containing 44 wood-cut illustrations by Walter Teutsch and the extra suite. - The suite repeats all 44 (recte 50, the 8 initials combined in 4 in 2 blocks each) wood-cuts (full-paged illustrations, head-pieces, vignettes and illustrated initals) of the text volume on 26 sheets of extra light Japanese wove paper with blind embossed stamp (Leda and the Swan) and partly with deckle-edge on two sides, all partially mounted under the original mat numbered with blindstamp. 15 of the sheets alternatively on intense yellow Japanese laid paper, the rest on natural-coloured of the same type. - Set and printed under the supervision of E. R. Weiß, the present de luxe edition bound by hand by Spamer, Leipzig. - Flaps of the map with faults and torn at joints, otherwise very well-preserved copies indeed. For us not traceable in a complete set at auction since 1990.
