Bruno Goldschmitt war ein deutscher Maler und Graphiker, der mit unter anderem Herman Hesse in Künstlerkolonie in Süddeutschland lebte. Seine 17 Radierungen haben einen leicht karikativen und düsteren Charakter, der zur Thematik des satirischen Romans passt. - Die drei Original Federzeichnungen finden sich als Radierungen in dem Band wieder. - Ränder der Zeichnungen gebräunt. Insgesamt sehr gut erhalten.

Bruno Goldschmitt was a German painter and graphic artist who lived with Herman Hesse and others in an artists' colony in southern Germany. His 17 etchings have a slightly caricatural and gloomy character that matches the theme of the satirical novel. - The three original pen and ink drawings can be found as etchings in the volume. - Margins of the drawings browned. Overall in very good condition.
