Architecture – Extremely rare large-format work with high-quality collotypes. - Originally from Bavaria, the Dientzenhofers rank among the most important Baroque architects and master builders in Central Europe, and among the most influential in both architectural and art history. Among other things, they worked on some 250 buildings, both their own and those of others, in Bohemia, in various parts of present-day Germany and Austria (Franconia, Hesse, Silesia and the Upper Palatinate), and in Italy (Rome, Venice and Turin). The five brothers and their descendants are known above all for the churches and aristocratic residences built under their direction, such as Passau Cathedral, Prague Castle (Hradcany) and the Clementinum in Prague, and St. Peter's Church (Peterskirche) in Vienna. - Overall a very well-preserved and clean copy.
