Vorw., Verz.), 383 (1, Errata) S. Kalbsldr. d. Zt. mit goldgepr. RTit. und Bandnr. auf Lederschildchen, reicher Rückenvergoldung, goldgepr. ornament. Fileten auf Deckeln und Stehkanten, Vorsätzen aus mehrfarbigem Ringmarmorpapier, umseitigen Farbschnitt und Lesezeichenbändchen (an der Kapitale von Bd. 2 mit kleiner Fehlstelle, stw. mit Lichtrand, etw. beschabt und berieben).
Theologie und Religionswissenschaften – Seltene erste und einzige Gesamtausgabe, unser Exemplar mit prominenter Provenienz. - VD18 11339837. - Selten, über das KVK in deutschen Institutionen nur in zwei Exemplaren vorhanden (UB Erfurt, ULB Halle). Nicht in der StaBi und SUB Göttingen. - Ferdinand Storsch (1750-1821) fungierte als Königlich Preussicher Hofprediger und und war u.a. an der Berliner Domkirche tätig. - Provenienz: Titelblätter verso mit Stempel des Kgl. Joachimsthalschen Gymnasiums (aufgelöst 1956) als Legat des preußischen Justizministers Friedrich Wilhelm von Thulemeier (1735-1811): "Gymnasio Reg: Joachim: Legat: Ab Illustr: Thulemeiero". (Zum Legat: Köpke, F. C.: Geschichte der Bibliothek des Königl. Joachimsthalschen Gymnasiums ... Berlin, 1831, S. 22f.) - Die Titelblätter in den Rändern leicht gebräunt, sonst wohlerhaltener, schmucker Exemplarsatz mit farbfrischen zeitgenössischen Buntpapieren als Vorsätzen, der 2. Band gedruckt auf minzgrünem Bütten.
Theology and Religious Studies – Rare first and only edition of Stosch's prayers, our copy with a distinguished provenance. Bound in contemporary calf with rich gold tooling and superb multicolour shell marbled paper. - For references see above. - Scarce, only two copies are listed in German institutions via the KVK (Erfurt University Library, Halle University Library). - Ferdinand Storsch (1750-1821) served as Royal Prussian Court Chaplain and worked, amongst other places, at the Berlin Cathedral. - Provenance: Verso of title pages bearing the stamp of the Royal Joachimsthal Grammar School (dissolved in 1956) as a bequest of the Prussian Minister of Justice Friedrich Wilhelm von Thulemeier (1735-1811): 'Gymnasio Reg: Joachim: Legat: Ab Illustr: Thulemeiero'. - Title pages somewhat browned at margins, otherwise a fine set of volumes with splendig contemporary decorative papers, the second volume printed on mint-green mould paper.
