Geographie und Reisen – Die vertikal geschnittene Papierstreifen, Tanzaku, werde traditionell oft mit Gedichten beschrieben, können aber alternativ auch mit kleinen floralen und landschaftlichen Motiven dekoriert werden. Die hier vorliegende Sammlung von Tanzaku beinhaltet Gedichte sowie Urushi Zeichnungen. Urushi bezeichnet eine in der japanischen Kunst traditionell verwendete Lackfarbe, die aus dem ostasiatischen Lackbaum hergestellt wird. - Randläsuren, tls. leicht wasser- und stockfleckig. Insgesamt gut erhaltene Sammlung von Tanzaku mit kontrastreichen Urushi Zeichnungen.

Housed in a wooden box (box shows heavy rubbing and bumped edges). - Tanzaku - vertically cut strips of paper - are traditionally inscribed with poems, though they may alternatively be decorated with small floral or landscape motifs. This collection comprises tanzaku featuring both poems and urushi drawings. Urushi refers to a lacquer paint traditionally used in Japanese art, derived from the East Asian lacquer tree. - Edgewear, some slight water staining and foxing. Overall, a well-preserved collection of tanzaku featuring high-contrast urushi drawings.
