Geschichtswissenschaften – Erste Ausgabe dieser Bearbeitung. Hebräische Fibel mit Lesebuch für den Elementar- und Religionsunterricht der jüdischen Gemeinden Ungarns. Der Titel "Kol Jehuda" ("Die Stimme Jehudas") geht auf die Fibel von M. Stengel zurück, Religionslehrer der Israelitischen Kultusgemeinde Wien. Sie erschien 1911 bei Schlesinger in Wien und Budapest, eine ungarische Ausgabe mit 56 Seiten ist bereits um 1900 belegt. Solche Fibeln lehrten das Lesen in aschkenasischer Aussprache und enthielten die wichtigsten Gebete in liturgischer Reihenfolge. Sie wurden jahrzehntelang an jüdischen Elementarschulen und Talmud-Tora-Schulen sowie im Unterricht für Erwachsene benutzt. Die Buchhandlung Jós. Schlesinger mit Häusern in Wien und Budapest war einer der wichtigsten Verlage für Judaica in der Donaumonarchie. Nach der Emigration der Familie wurde er in Tel Aviv als "Sinai" weitergeführt.
History – First edition of this version. A Hebrew primer and reader for elementary and religious instruction in the Jewish communities of Hungary. The title "Kol Jehuda" ("The Voice of Judah") goes back to the primer by M. Stengel, religion teacher of the Jewish Community of Vienna (Israelitische Kultusgemeinde Wien). It was published by Schlesinger in Vienna and Budapest in 1911, a Hungarian edition of 56 pages is recorded as early as c. 1900. Primers of this kind taught reading in the Ashkenazi pronunciation and contained the principal prayers in liturgical order. They were used for decades in Jewish elementary schools and Talmud Torah schools, and also for teaching adults. The bookshop of Jós. Schlesinger, with branches in Vienna and Budapest, was one of the leading publishers of Judaica in the Habsburg Monarchy. After the family emigrated, the firm continued in Tel Aviv under the name "Sinai".
