o.T. (Schäferin im Dachauer Moos). Um 1920. Öl auf Holzfaserplatte. 42 x 55 cm. Signiert. Gerahmt. Verso auf Etikett von fremder Hand bezeichnet, dort mit Provenienzvermerk Fritz Knöller. - Leicht nachgedunkelt. Oberfläche leicht angestaubt. Wenige feine, kleine Kratzer in der linken Bildhälfte. Linker Rand etwas berieben. Insgesamt gut. Ausgezeichnete Arbeit mit feinen Nuancen.

Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Hugo Troendle studierte in Karlsruhe, verbrachte jedoch die ersten Jahre nach seinem Studium größtenteils auf der Reise. In Frankreich hielt er sich von 1908-12 dauerhaft auf und verkehrte mit Künstlern wie Odilon Redon und Pierre Bonnard. Auch Cézannes Werke, die er kurz zuvor gesehen hatte, übten eine nachhaltige Faszination auf ihn aus. Nach seinem Umzug nach München 1919 wurde er Mitglied der Münchner Neuen Sezession und des Deutschen Künstlerbundes. Bis zur Verfemung seiner Werke als entartete Kunst nahm er an zahlreichen Ausstellungen teil.
