Photographie - Moderne Photographie – Eines von 200 Exemplaren. - Herausgegeben vom Verein der Neuen Nationalgalerie anlässlich des Abendempfangs im Caffè Lavena Piazza San Marco am 31. Mai 2013 im Rahmen der 55. Venedig Biennale.

Modern Photography – 5-piece photo collage, each a laser print on smooth vellum. In original box, signed, numbered and dated here. With enclosed assembly instructions in English. Adhesive strips on the reverse for joining the elements. - Overall in very good condition and immaculately clean. - One of 200 copies. - Published by the Friends of the Neue Nationalgalerie on the occasion of the evening reception at Caffè Lavena, Piazza San Marco, on 31 May 2013 as part of the 55th Venice Biennale. - Scarecrow Multiples is a photographic collage comprising five torn laser prints based on photographs, which can be assembled using assembly instructions. As a rare paper work by the Albanian artist, who is primarily known as a video artist, this edition represents a remarkable foray into the medium of print collage. Sala, whose work engages intensively with questions of language, perception and memory, translates the principles of fragmentation and reconstruction into a participatory, tactile object in Scarecrow Multiples. Through the deliberate assembly of the individual elements, the viewer becomes part of the artistic process - perception is not merely depicted here, but made actively experiential.
