Das Sujet des nackten, auf einem Fußball sitzenden Modells greift unmittelbar auf die Pin-up zurück und verbindet diese mit dem Kontext der Massenware.

A magnificent, vividly coloured print with a velvety finish. - One of 20 copies. - Since the early 1960s, Mel Ramos has been developing his distinctive visual language, which explores the visual conventions of consumerism and desire. The motif of the nude model sitting on a football draws directly on the pin-up tradition and links it to the context of mass-produced goods.
