Superman. 2006. Farbserigraphie auf festem Velin. 96 x 67 cm (115 x 85 cm). Signiert, nummeriert und bezeichnet "A.P." Punktuell auf Unterlage montiert. - Kanten partiell minimal bestoßen, wenige blasse, kaum sichtbare Bereibungen. Insgesamt sehr gut.

Pop Art – Hilger/Zwingenberger GS3-06. - Eines von 50 Exemplaren. - Herausgegeben von Galerie Ernst Hilger, Wien 2006. - Gedruckt bei Carini, S Giovanni Valdarno. - Mit dem Superman-Motiv kehrt Ramos zu den Anfängen seines Schaffens zurück: Zu Beginn seiner Karriere ließ er sich von amerikanischen Comics und den Figuren der Superhelden-Ikonographie von Batman und Flash Gordon inspirieren. Mit der vorliegenden Arbeit formuliert der Künstler die Frage, was aus dem Helden der Populärkultur nach vierzig Jahren geworden ist, und wie sich die Grenze zwischen Ikone, Marke und Kunstobjekt seither verschoben hat.

Overall, very good condition. - Hilger/Zwingenberger GS3-06. - One of 50 copies. - Published by Galerie Ernst Hilger, Vienna 2006. - Printed by Carini, San Giovanni Valdarno. - With the Superman motif, Ramos returns to the beginnings of his creative work: at the start of his career, he drew inspiration from American comics and the superheroes of Batman and Flash Gordon. In this work, the artist explores what has become of the hero of popular culture after forty years, and how the boundary between icon, brand and art object has shifted since then.

Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
