4 Arbeiten. Je Vierfarben-Serigraphie auf festem, glattem Velin. 1999. Insgesamt sehr gut. Durchweg prachtvolle Drucke in ausgesprochener Farbkraft mit schmalem Rand.

Zeitgenössische Kunst – Enthält: - Kirschen I - Pfirsiche I - Trauben I - Äpfel I. - Je eines von 500 Exemplaren. - Hg. v.

Contemporary Art – Four-color serigraphs on sturdy, smooth wove paper. 1999. In the lower margin, each with typographic designation as well as work and edition details. - Very occasional, barely noticeable minor nicks to the edges. Overall in very good condition. Splendid impressions of exceptional color intensity with narrow margins. - Contains: - Cherries I - Peaches I - Grapes I - Apples I. - Each one from an edition of 500. - Published by Kunstverlag Schumacher - Edition Fils, Düsseldorf. - The breakthrough of Gerhard Richter's master student came as early as her work of the 1990s with realistic depictions of oversized fruit. In a deceptively realistic manner, Kneffel constructs her pictorial spaces through extreme cropping and a variable interplay of proximity and distance. Although the fruit still life has a long-standing art-historical tradition and appears to have exhausted its narrative potential, Kneffel deliberately places this genre at the center of her artistic practice, thereby granting it renewed relevance within contemporary art. By concentrating on a small section of the image and translating it into a monumental format, she achieves a subtle estrangement of the object, which is rendered with impressive photorealistic precision.
