Zeitgenössische Kunst – Serielles Unikat, das im Damien Hirst Spin Workshop anlässlich der Ausstellungseröffnung "Requiem" im Pinchuk Art Centre in Kiew im Jahr 2009 entstand. - Das vorliegende Spin Painting stammt aus dem Kontext von Hirst's bekanntesten Werkserien, den Spin Paintings: Flüssige Farbe wird auf eine rotierende Fläche aufgetragen und erzeugt so die charakteristischen Farbstrahlen, die sich mit dem im Ouevre des Künstlers ikonischen Motivs des Schmetterlings verbinden und so ein Bild von Transformation, Fragilität und vitaler Energie erzeugen.
