Je monogrammiert und datiert, ein Blatt ohne Signatur, hier verso mit Bezeichnung von fremder Hand sowie Stempel der Galerie du Pont Royal, Paris. Je punktuell auf Unterlage und unter Passepartout montiert. Insgesamt sehr gut.

Avantgardistische Abstraktion

Klassische Moderne – Drei abstrakte Kompositionen in Aquarell von Henri Pfeiffer aus einer Phase, in der sich seine Auseinandersetzung mit Farbe und Form zu einer reifen Bildsprache verdichtet. Pfeiffer, der sich im Alter von 17 Jahren dem Bauhaus und den Lehren Paul Klees anschloss, bezeichnete Arbeiten dieser Jahre als Originale seiner Bauhaus-Epoche.

Classical Modernism – Each watercolour on laid paper. Each monogrammed and dated, one sheet unsigned, bearing a handwritten description on the reverse and the stamp of the Galerie du Pont Royal. Each mounted in places on a backing board and under a passe-partout. Overall in very good condition. - Three abstract watercolour compositions by Henri Pfeiffer from a period in which his exploration of colour and form crystallised into a mature visual language. Pfeiffer, who joined the Bauhaus and embraced the teachings of Paul Klee at the age of 17, described works from this period as the defining pieces of his Bauhaus era.
