In dichtem schwarzen Pinselduktus entwickelt Uecker ein schriftartiges Zeichengefüge, das sich aus seiner jahrelangen Auseinandersetzung mit Schrift, Zeichen und meditativer Wiederholung speist.

An excellent, high-contrast print of the full-size composition, the colours are fresh. Copy outside the numbered edition of 70. - Published by Erker-Presse, St. Gallen. - Created as an accompaniment to the special edition of Heinz Norbert Jocks' book "Archaeology of Travel". Using dense, black brushstrokes, Uecker develops a typographic structure of symbols that draws on his years of engagement with writing, symbols and meditative repetition.
