Engadin II. 1982. Farblithographie auf Velin. 40 x 40 cm. Signiert, datiert und nummeriert sowie mit dem Trockenstempel des Herausgebers. - Verso mit leichtem Farbdurchschlag, untere rechte Ecke mit einer sehr blassen, kaum sichtbaren Griffspur. Insgesamt sehr gut. Prachtvoller, farbsatter und kreidiger Druck der abstrakten Komposition mit schmalem Rand.

ZERO – Eines von 75 Exemplaren. - Herausgegeben von der Erker-Presse, St. Gallen. - Die vorliegende, kalligraphisch gearbeitete Komposition entstand im Kontext von Ueckers Aufenthalten in der Schweiz und spiegelt seine Eindrücke und Emotionen in Form von Linien und Flächen, oder, wie der Künstler es selbst formulierte, als "epileptische Reaktionen wie gestisches Stammeln" wieder. In Blau, Violett und Purpur entwickelt er eine sich in Einzelgesten auflösende Zeichenstruktur, die die Natur nicht als Abbild, sondern als körperliche Reaktion auf Licht und Raum wiedergibt.

Signed, dated and numbered, and bearing the publisher's drystamp. - Slight ink bleed on the reverse, a very faint, barely visible handling mark in the lower right-hand corner. A magnificent, richly coloured and chalky print of the abstract composition with a narrow border. - One of 75 copies. - Published by Erker-Presse, St. Gallen. - This calligraphically rendered composition was created during Uecker's stays in Switzerland and reflects his impressions and emotions in the form of lines and planes, or, as the artist himself put it, as "epileptic reactions like gestural stammering". In blue, violet and purple, he develops a structural pattern that dissolves into individual gestures, rendering nature not as a representation but as a physical reaction to light and space.
